Screener settings
Best TradingView momentum screener settings
Screen and confirm structure in the same window.
TradingView's advantage over Finviz is not the filters — it is that you can click straight from a screener row into the chart and check base quality without switching tools. Set it up so that flow is one click.

Columns worth adding
Add Performance 1W, Performance 1M, Relative Volume, Average True Range and Sector. The ATR column is the one most people leave off, and it is the column that tells you whether your intended stop is realistic before you look at the chart at all.
Working the results
- Sort by Performance 6M.
- Group mentally by sector — if six of your top ten are in one industry, that is the signal, not the individual names.
- Click into each chart and check for higher highs and higher lows, and a base you could place a stop under.
- Save survivors to a watchlist, then score them.
Where it falls short
Fundamental filtering is thinner than Stock Rover, so the Earnings Momentum recipe runs better elsewhere. Screener refresh and alert limits also tighten on the free tier.
